Come and enjoy the National Tractor Pull which has become an international event.  You will hear the roar of the tractors with the dirt flying over the 3 day event in October.

The National Tractor Pulling Championships began in 1967.  The National Tractor Pulling Championships are held the third weekend in August at the Wood County Fairgrounds, located at 13800 W. Poe Rd., Bowling Green, Ohio.       

If you have thought about entering the competition you may be interested to know there is an estimated crowd of 60,000 for the weekend event, and over $150,000 in purse money and contingency prizes.  IT would be a great time for you whether you are a competitor or a spectator of this event.

The vehicle classifications are:
Two Wheel Drive Trucks

Single automotive type V-8 engine
Maximum 575 cubic inches, turbos or superchargers allowed
15′ maximum length from front of truck to center of rear wheels
Maximum width: 8 ft.
H.P. ranging between 1,200 to over 2,000
Rear tires 18.4 x 16.1 inches, maximum circumference 143 inches on 18" rim at 28 psi.
Maximum total vehicle weight: 6,200 lbs.
Planetary rear end allowed
Four Wheel Drive Trucks

Single naturally aspirated automotive type engine
Maximum 650 cubic inches
Maximum 133" wheel base
H.P. ranging between 1,000 to 1,300
Tires may not exceed 18" tread width by 38" high
Maximum total vehicle weight: 6,200 lbs.
Must maintain original appearance, w/hood, grill & fenders in place as intended by manufacturer
Tires: maximum 112 inch circumference on 20 inch rim, at 30 psi.
Mini Rods

Single automotive type V-8 engine
Maximum 575 cubic inches blown, 650 cid naturally aspirated
H.P. from 1,800 to 2,000
8′ Maximum length from center of rear wheels
Maximum width of 6′

Super Semis

Maximum weight 20,000 lbs. with 250 inch maximum wheelbase
One production available commercial truck engine allowed
Stock appearance truck of that year
Road use approved tires that are available to the public
Only tandem axle semi-trucks
Only two stages of air pressure allowed with combination of turbo and/or supercharges.

There is camping available for those that want to stay on the grounds but there are NO water and sewer hookups.  There is a dump station for your use. 

Pets are permitted at the campground as long as they are on a lease at all times they are outside.

Tickets are $40 for adults and kids 10 and over for Session 1 (advance sale – $44 at the gate)  This is for all day Friday.
If you only want the evening the tickets are $20 in advance and $22 at the gate.

The same prices are for Saturday all day or Saturday evening only.

Sunday cost $20 advance and $22 at the gate.

A three day pass is $100 in advance and $110 at the gate. 

Reserved seating is $4

If you want a camping package which includes 2 adult 3 day passes the cost in advance is $280 and $300 at the gate.
