The Toledo Zoo, Toledo, Ohio is not the most famous zoo in the state of Ohio, but it does have many things that no other zoo in the world has like the only African animal carousel and the only Kihansi Spray Toad in captivity.  The Toledo Zoo also boasts of many firsts, like the first Hippoquarium in the world and one of only two zoos in the world to house Saddle-Billed Storks, though it is unclear which of the two zoos had them first.
